Military – Dependent, Active Duty, and Veterans

Visit the Resources page for a full list of resources. Below are a few specifically for military families.

To chat with someone kind, who can answer any questions you have, even if you think the situation isn’t “that bad,” contact Family Advocacy on the military post/base closest to you. They can help figure out how to make the situation better for everyone. To find the phone number for the office closest to you, do a search for “Family Advocacy near [enter your zip code].”

Alternatively, reach out to someone within the military chain of command for you or your partner. They have a responsibility to keep you safe if your partner is a threat to you or your children. If your partner is currently serving in the military, contact someone you trust in his chain of command. If you don’t know anyone, call his commanding officer.
